Steven Luksan has been integral to the inner workings of NWEGS since its inception. We are so happy to have him officially take the role of Composer-in-Residence and we look forward to hearing his works performed on our concerts in the coming seasons! For more information visit his website here.

NWEGS Composer & Conductor-in-Residence

• We have established official positions within NWEGS to give up-and-coming composers and conductors in our region opportunities to work and grow with us. We offer opportunities to hone their craft within the Grieg and Norwegian-focused repertoire we support working with our own musicians as well as larger organizations we collaborate with.
• Residencies are annual, from September 1 – August 31, and may be renewed for up to 3 years.  Applications are due on a rolling deadline as positions open up.
