Baritone Alan Dunbar and pianist Knut Erik Jensen return to the Northwest, performing Grieg’s songs to texts by Andreas Munch, Holger Drachmann, John Paulsen, and Bjørnsterne Bjørnson which will explore Norway’s natural beauty, from the mountains to the fjords, from landscapes to people and beyond. Come join us for a journey through Norway one beautiful song after another.

 

This is the sixth of seven concerts over three years presenting the complete songs of Edvard Grieg, sponsored by the Northwest Edvard Grieg Society.
