Part II of a three part concert mini-series, From Grieg to Gershwin, the Seattle-Bergen String Quartet will perform quartets by Grieg, Grainger, Gershwin, and Montgomery. They will explore the musical folk identity expressed through the composer’s music, from Norwegian folk dances, to Irish folk dances, to a lullaby and finally the unique modern American experience.
