Events & Concerts

Mainstage Concerts

  • Chamber music concerts featuring music by Edvard Grieg, other Norwegian composers, and living, local composers inspired by Grieg, bringing the music to audiences outside of Seattle.
  • Concerts performed in collaboration with other music organizations, allowing us to present larger-scale works with orchestra, chorus, and opera companies, that we would not be able to present on our own.

Nordic Chamber Music

  • Inspired by Edvard Grieg’s Euterpe Society from his time in Copenhagen, Nordic Chamber Music aspires to share under-performed chamber music from the Nordic region.
  • Each season features six concerts — one for each of the Nordic countries and a neighbor — allowing each country’s music to shine on its own accord.
  • Performed in Seattle on Sunday afternoons throughout from September through May.

Education & Outreach

  • Inspiring musicians of all ages to explore the music of Edvard Grieg and his Nordic counterparts, we collaborate with local music organization to provide resources to teachers and students.
  • We offer concerts, workshops, masterclasses, presentations, coachings, and practical resources and access to scores to teachers and students.
  • We aim to bring Nordic music to audiences outside the big city through high-quality performances in their own spaces.
